Dresden disco heavyweight Purple Disco Machine returns with 'Disco Cherry', a Pure Pacha-linked anthem that sounds purpose-built for warm Ibiza nights and oversized club terraces. Sampling Kasso's Italo-disco staple 'Walkman', the track glides along on rolling drums, sparkling synth work and that unmistakably glossy Purple Disco Machine groove science. The vocal snippets are used sparingly, little nudges towards the dancefloor while the bassline does most of the heavy lifting underneath. Shamelessly feel-good, yes, but delivered with enough polish and momentum to make the whole thing land exactly as intended.
