Jonas Blue & Malive – Edge of Desire

Following a string of chart-bothering dance-pop hits, Jonas Blue headed to Defected last July with 'Edge of Desire', a collaboration with Brazilian producer Malive that subsequently became one of the underground club hits of the summer. Here it finally surfaces on vinyl, alongside a tasteful and classy selection of remixes. The duo's original mix is a genuinely sun-splashed tropical house earworm full of hooky female vocals, glistening guitars, warming disco bass and carnival-ready South American percussion. Soulful house veterans Jazz-N-Groove deliver a warming, largely live deep house rub, Franky Rizardo channels the spirit of MK on a very mid-90s sounding take and Grigore & Cold Serve join forces on a hybrid deep house/tech-house take.
