Review: Amsterdam home-hitter Chris Stussy plots a curvier arc in his own Up The Stuss orbit with 'Mysteries Of The Universe', pushing is groove-heavy progressive style into slightly more electro-tinged, interplanetary territory. 'Hundu Boulevard' keeps things rolling past the title track with Stussy's trademark tight percussion and elastic bass, before 'Can't Escape' leans darker and more stripped, and 'A Traveler on the Dusty Road' closes the set with spacious textures and late-night atmosphere. The EP shows Stussy stretching beyond the punchy minimal house he's known for, weaving in spacey melodies and leaner arrangements without losing the floor-filling focus that's made him a staple of the modern house circuit.
