Review: Aside from a couple of spots on Phonica AM and CWPT, Voodoos & Taboos have taken matters into their own hands and released their canny strain of chunky, melodic house themselves. That self-reliant streak continues apace with this fourth drop in the series, leading in with the boxy beats and shapely synth hooks of 'The Sun Also Rises' before dipping into the spellbinding electro chimes of 'Tokyo Synthetica'. 'Consequential' has something of an electroclash demeanour in its catchy, buzzing leads and vocoder licks, while 'Electronique' keeps the fun levels at an all-time high.
