Various – Co-ops Vol. 1

It’s safe to say Ed Davenport’s Counterchange label, along with his Inland alias, has taken flight. This Co Ops various artist EP sees the label welcome three new names to its operation and beginning with Fachwerk prong Roman Lindau, the German machine funkster delivers the grooviest track of the four. Big-roomers Cassegrain provide a loopy drone piece with industrial atmospherics, as does Nubian Mindz only his “NitroGen” is more dubby than industrial. A fresh sounding Savas Pascalidis also makes his debut on the label with another dubby, house-tinted club track that’s similar to what you can hear the German making for Psyk’s Non Series label at the moment.
