Mysterious new minimal techno numbers from the artist known only as TCR. No-fluff, simple productions feature here, and all tracks are tempered by radio’ed-in samples, as though the producer were sifting through FM radio and snipping out the best bits. Sultry encouragements to ‘shake’ parts of the body complement a bass-driven lead lick on ‘Chicos, Chicas’, for example – it’s clear there’s a simple motive behind this EP, and that’s to make people dance. Perhaps even sexually.
