Passionate about techno music as a shamanistic medium, TUNNEL is an electronic music group focused solely on evoking an inward journey through inspired, sonically complex electronic music. Vivid, poly-rhythmic techno becomes the medium through which TUNNEL unfold their vision of self, unity, and possibility. The ENTER ep marks their debut. With their A-side, Moment of Introspection and Through the Noise Field, TUNNEL creates two peak hour Berghain-inspired techno tracks built around layered synths, tense builds, and driving rhythms. With thoughtful breaks and sonic twists, they combine a sensitivity to the needs of the DJ to inspire a moment. The intensity of the tracks derives from TUNNEL’s signature sound, sustained atmospheric builds derived from singing bowls and other instruments used in world meditation practice. The result is a hard-edged drive towards a mind-altering dancefloor experience.
