Having made a splash with his fantastic 'Set You Free' EP on Global Swing, Leo Dimartino AKA Tino recently landed on M.A.D Records with a superb rework of Pascal Moscheni's 'Pasion Latina'. Now the Nottingham-raised, Manchester-based party-starter makes a rapid return with his first full EP for Make a Dance's on-point imprint. He heads straight for peak-time dancefloors on fantastic opener 'So Hot', a nostalgic nod towards proto-house and the M/A/R/R/S era of early UK house funkiness, before unleashing the basement-bothering, acid-clad insanity of 'Pleasure Pole'. Over on side B, 'Rock Ya Body' melds colourful Italian deep house with thickset early 90s breakbeat house, sparkling keyboard riffs and soulful reggae vocal samples, while M.A.D co-founder Josh Ludlow's accompanying remix is a squelchy chunk of late 80s house hedonism.
