Review: The resurgence of cult early 90s Californian deep house label Pacific Coast Recordings continues apace. We've already been treated to reissues of EPs by Lance Desardi, Teflon Dons and Sam Robson aka Coastal Commission.
Here, we get another sought-after cut from the latter: 2003's 'Bring Down The Walls'. Deep, mysterious, warm, bleepy and dubby, it offers nods aplenty to the Robert Owens track of the same name and Raze classic 'Break 4 Love'. Over on side, we get a previously dubplate-only missive from early 2000s California scene staple Jesse Outlaw. Entitled 'Let It Go', it's a soulful, thickset and bongo-rich chunk of high-grade deep house soul.
