Sweely – You Can Try This

Lobster Theremin’s sub-label Distant Hawaii returns with some dark, moody and nostalgic vibes. This will be French producer Sweely’s second appearance for the imprint, following up some great ones recently on Butter Side Up, Negentropy and Automatic Writing. “You Can Try This” features the sensual, swing-fuelled late night deepness of the title track, before serving up some moody and lo-fi afterhours techno via “Feeling Cosy”, channeling that current Berlin vibe. On the flip is the retro “The Never Ending Groove” which goes for that classic DJ Duke/Power Music vibe of yesteryear.
