Review: Big one from our reptilian overlord. On a landmark 50th release for the label, Reptant returns to Kalahari Oyster Cult with a one-two punch of cybernetic machine funk. The followup to 2019’s ‘Phasic Reflex’ EP, ‘Duality of the Gecko’ picks up where its predecessor left off: 2 tracks demonstrating an innate ability to achieve Detroit-styled deepness without sacrificing dancefloor propulsion.
