Pancratio – Korghettini Electronics

Twenty-odd years ago, Korg dropped their four now famous Electribe pieces of studio kit. Pancratio never quite managed to get them into his setup until he decided in 2020 to use the machines on their own. The results of his jams on a drum machine, analog modelling synthesizer, sampler and a music workstation are presented here and make for perfectly punchy and timeless techno cuts with bumping beats and wired electronics. He says, “the title, as well as the aesthetic of the project, are inspired by a future-retro approach to early electronics and 70s Italian product advertisement.”
