Mateo Dufour, Cosenza – Sweat EP

Key Records is a Rio de la Plata imprint co-founded during the pandemic by Agustin Clark and Juan Pablo Beduchaud in Montevideo. Slotting flush in the minimal-to-deep-tech cavity, they've been building a European profile steadily, with functional gatekeepers Enzo Siragusa, Traumer and Voigtmann among those playing their stuff out. Now for the second vinyl release from the camp: 'Sweat' and 'Girl (I Want To)' on the A, the former a road-tested peak-time tool with a penetrating vocal, the latter pulling back into groove territory. 'Why So Freak?' on the B is the more playful, sunrise-hour cut; Dan Ghenacia closes with a deep remix.
