Martin Solveig & GTA – Intoxicated

Review: In honour of the track's tenth birthday, Italian imprint Dance On The Beat has decided to do an anniversary reissue of Martin Solveig's bouncy, synth-heavy, EDM-influenced house anthem 'Intoxicated' - a cut featuring hooky lead vocals from GTM that was initially released by Dutch label Spinnin'. This time round, they've accompanied the French producer's joyous, riff-heavy original mix with a swathe of reworks that were originally available on a separate EP. There's a slower, synth-heavy and nu-disco influenced rub by Zeds Dead, a tough, wobble-bass-propelled peak-time house rub courtesy of Sleepy Tom, a similarly heavy and wild Arkadian & Whiiite re-rub, and a busting, jump-up style d&b tweak by DJ Fresh.
