LSD – Third Process

Hot on the heels of debut album “Second Process” comes “Third Process”, another no-holds-barred collection of cuts from all-star techno trio LSD (AKA scene heavyweights Luke Slater, Steve Bicknell and David Sumner). As with its predecessors, the three-track EP is full to bursting with raw, mind-altering club cuts seemingly crafted from modular and analogue sounds. They first wrap looped electronic bleeps and hissing cymbals around a heavy and hypnotic groove on “Process 10”, before upping the percussive pressure and brain melting, acid-style electronics on the Surgeon-esque sleaze of “Process 11”. Without breaking stride, they then reach for the psychedelic electronics and restless stabs on marginally deeper closing cut “Process 12”.
