DJ Bogdan – Love Inna Basement

Anyone who's been out at a club lately might have heard some form of "Love Inna Basement." The "Midnite XTC" mix is the choice cut, faster, cheesier and gleefully packed with obvious samples and storming rave synths. The "Morning Dub" is steelier, like a Special Request remix of "Theme From Q." These versions don't offer much more than novelty compared to the original, but it's hard to think critically when that bassline comes in, an effect that's even sweeter when you don't know that it's coming. Objekt might say that these aren't "Theme From Q" VIPs, but they do exactly what a VIP mix is supposed to do: extend the lifespan of an anthem so we can hear that bassline on a dance floor one more time.
