Dan Andrei – Parcul Cosmos LP

An unannounced [a:rpia:r] release arrived at the end of December, right about the time many of the label’s fans were nursing Christmas party hangovers. The unusual timing is becoming a pattern. About 12 months ago it was Raresh’s Vivaltu Remixes, and two years before that it was Petre Inspirescu’s Grădina Onirică. Now we have Parcul Cosmos from Dan Andrei, a producer who’s been aligned with Rhadoo, Raresh and Petre Inspirescu’s label since it launched in 2007. At eight tracks long, it’s the most substantial and experimental [a:rpia:r] release by anyone other than Inspirescu, making it an important moment in the label’s story.
