With the Ortofon Concorde MKII Club you get a DJ pickup system which is ideally suited for use in clubs or studios. The needle has a special elliptical cut, which allows a more extensive scanning of the record and thus ensures a higher quality sound reproduction than a spherical needle. Apart from this, the high output voltage ensures loud sound reproduction with low pre-amplification and consequently a reduction of possible feedback in live environments. The Ortofon Concorde MKII Club system can also be used for digitisation, as every detail of the sound carrier is recorded due to the extremely high and neutral sound reproduction.

Fresh from producing a blistering remix of ‘Camargue’ earlier this year, Maceo Plex returns with his first Drumcode EP in five years. Maceo Plex hasn't dropped an original on Drumcode since 2014 when the hugely popular 'Conjure Infinity' EP was released. Despite this, he's been a significant feature at DC events over the last year. Sharing a tight relationship with Adam Beyer, the pair have laid down memorable B2B sets at Warehouse Project, Ultra Music Festival, and the Resistance opening party in Ibiza this summer, thus cementing their tight musical bond.

Northern Electronics is a new label from Abdulla Rashim, the Swedish producer who’s been turning heads in recent years with a textured take on techno that has mostly come out on his own self-titled imprint. This new label looks to be an outlet for contributions from friends as well as Rashim. First is Varg’s Misantropen, an eight-track release filled with chilly, acid-laced abstractions.

The year in music couldn’t come to a close without Adam Beyer slipping in a last-minute track (or two). The Swedish producer and founder of Drumcode Records has released Going Down, his only EP of 2016, alongside Dense & Pika (aka Alex Jones and Chris Spero) just in time for “winter warehouse party season.”
