Review: UK collective Dave Coker, Justin Bailey, Timmy Stone and Timmy Stuart were known as "the three Strangeweather boys", but as Coke, Stoned & Baileys they sat at the forefront of the underground scene. This EP - one of only two they put out - first came in 2002 on the Surreal label at a time when tech house was taking form and it quickly became a classic of the genre. Now reissued on Endell Street with newly remastered original cuts, starting with the tough dub tech swagger of 'Barry's Had A Whitey', before a more bulbous low-end and sci-fi sound designs characterise 'What Women Want' with its swirling synths and sub-aquatic vibes sinking you deeper into the groove.
