Review: A low-slung gem from the mid-2000s returns as Chris Pascoe's slick two tracker resurfaces via Evasive Records. Originally pressed in limited numbers and so in demand ever since, it captured a strain of tech house that was patient and detailed. 'Mong Juice' rolls deep with dubby space - its bleep-led bassline anchored by Pascoe's instinctive low-end touch, while 'Trippy Breakfast' drifts into more tribal territory, all hypnotic percussion and warm chords. Engineered by Simon Copleston, the mix retains a supple, late-night glow and now back in stock once more it is sure to cut through all over again.
