With a signature sound that balances club-ready deep house and nu-disco grooves with infectious hooks, plenty of vocals and splashes of sonic colour, ANOTR's music translates well to the long-playing format - as superb 2025 full-length On A Trip emphatically proves. Hopes are naturally high, then, for Withness [sic], their fourth studio album. Featuring an impressive array of guest vocalists (most notably 3DDY and Emily Warren), the vibrant and subtly soul-flecked set delivers 21st century dancefloor disco-pop, warming deep house, tropical-tinged two-step, French Touch soul and flash-fried electronic funk in spades, with each cut seemingly more ear-catching and inspiring than the last. Throw in occasion nods to piano-rich, hands-aloft house, and you have one of the most impressive disco-leaning house albums of 2026 so far.
