Unknown Artist – Party Tools 2.0

Earlier in the decade, Fraise Records delivered a trio of 'Party Tools' EPs from crewmembers Duowe & Picasso. Now, they've updated and upgraded the series, with 'Party Tools 2.0' - as they're calling it - showcasing club jams from "a mysteriously unknown operator". Our publicity-shy producer first offers up 'Mind Splinters', where creepy chords and undulationg, all-action TB-303 acid lines stretch out atop a bass-heavy house beat, before exploring low-slung, brain-melting tech-house territory on 'Want & Need'. '8am In Tisno', a nod to the 'sunrise sessions' at the annual Love International festival, is a more riff-laden slab of bass-heavy tech-house heaviness, while 'Mellow Magic' is deep and chunky deep house with a twist.
