Review: A desert sonic storm rises again, as Kalahari Oyster Cult tap Aarhus producer Natal Zaks for 'Plura' under a new alias. A rare dance water blaster in mini-LP form, 'Romantic', 'Tayuo', 'Plak' are choice zingers, rapping up the sides with unbound, unbidden snappiness, unafraid of 4x4 wonk or tuneful tang. The Aquafaba universe is a deep, infraquatic plain, where we're led to lose any sense of the liquid medium we move through: detail matters as much as ATV drive. Aquafaba is cemented as a new outlet for Zaks' ongoing xploits in well-wetted, mesmeric techno.
