Back in 2013, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith‘s mother asked her to compose and record some music that she could play at the yoga classes she hosted. Seven years later, the acclaimed ambient artist has decided to put it into the public domain. The nine tracks are as ear pleasing, positive and life affirming as you’d expect, with woozy electronic tones, drowsy tones and bright synthesizer melodies combining in a multitude of meditative, slow burning ways. It arguably ranks as one of Smith’s most picturesque works to date, which is high praise indeed.
