Bakked – Mike’s Therapy EP

We’re still dusting ourselves down from the thorough seeing-to Bakked gave us with the Jungle Generation EP on Outcast Planet, and yet here he is again with this muscular thumper on his own Outban imprint. ‘Immersion’ leads the charge with a nasty lead synth hook and some robotic female vox to give you a little taste of cyberpunk eroticism – just the ticket to get the party juiced up good n’ proper. Things edge closer to noirish electroclash on ‘Mental Test’ and maintain the saucy pressure on ‘Control Jam’, letting the freaky synths cavort across the no-nonsense drums for all manner of deviant delights calling out to all denizens of the night.
